Jökulsárlón is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
This glacier lake or lagoon as most tourist call it is located in Vatnajökull National Park and is run off from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier that leads into the Atlantic Ocean. The lake looks majestic and enchanting. The way the light hits the ice in the lake creates the most beautiful blue colors that creates rock candy like ice sculptures. The black sand beach that the lake flows to is scattered with ice chunks that melt from the ocean flow or the larger icebergs that were pulled out with the tide made for an incredible view for the sunset.
